Unf super sexy! The pixels look pretty neat and the double-sidedness is a nice touch too It's like, for every day wear, use the normal pickaxe side...then when it comes to prom or a fancy party, turn that thing over man and be the envy of all your friends! XDD
oh yes. pixels are indeed a b*tch. However I am addicted to how nice they look once they've been glossed!! Makes it all worth it ^_^
They're almost harder to mold. I have to very carefully use my clay cutting tools, but even then once I'm done the orignal shape is a bit warped so I have to go along every edge with my clay knife making sure everything's perfect. Then after baking, I have to sand every edge- there's a lot of edges on things like this >_<
These do look super awesome, I'm very impressed :3!I dunno if I'd have the patience to cut em then fix em then sand em again after tho @_@. Then again I did something similar with my compaion cube charms, but those almost killed me X_X
yeah.... well I find the precise methodic movements to be pretty relaxing since I can't concentrate on anything else. I have this day job that's really awful sometimes ( I'm a coder with nasty bosses ) and doing something like this give me that 'make the bad feelings go away' sensation that drinking used to- but I'm trying to curb that habit lol
Murble, coding. I took a few years of programming, but I suck at it super badly so I stopped. But I can understand its evils. Nasty bosses are just the horrible icing on that crappy cake, tho :c
I pretty much have the same reasoning like you. I work in a thrift store and it can get pretty stressful. I make all this stuff to relax and such, and its a bonus out can sell it online or at conventions too! Conventions can be really fun to have a table at, meet a lotta interesting people and get to see where your stuff goes as well as people enjoying it :3. So thats an extra bonus! Maybe you could look into it, if you're interested ^^
